Chinese garden is an enriching place where you can really gain alot of insight on the chinese culture and feel calm & serene with the beauty of nature and fresh air. =)

**
Next stop: NTU Chinese Heritage Centre

Not much photos coz no photography allowed. I understand that the Chinese would aim to project an ideal image that shows to their best advantage as to how they would like others to see them (in photographic studio portraits). However others may not see Chinese in that way. Chinese are being perceived by others through "mirrors" distorted by steoreotyping and stigmatization. & also how some of the 过帆客are being looked down upon by Chinese as they do not see these people as a part of them. (info taken from: Chinese more or less, an exhibition on overseas chinese identity/ credits for picture above to NTU CHC)

It's really an eye opening experience & no doubt we really learnt lot.

Perspectives on China highly recommended for yr2 IS. I learnt alot, not just the culture&history behind China, also moral values from mrlee.

The "mini sch bus" dropped us off nowhere near the bustop so we had to WALK all the way under the hot sun. Some others also headed to JP. I became their blur tour guide, but i swear i'm not blur.

Another guy in the same class saw me in the gym before. I don't rmb seeing him ah. Haha.

Had subway for lunch & slacked in mac cafe. Iced passion tea sucks! -_-" machiam plain water w fruity flavour. I expected it to be very passionately sweet. A letdown for me though. Next, Toy R'us.

Pride, Greed & Anger often lead to the downfall or change in human beings. Only when we know how to control the internal self in us, life will be much better for all. For instance, the recent case on charity association makes us realise that greed can destroy one just because of the sudden impulse which led to misappropriation of the funds.

Human just need to be complacent with whatever we have in life. Money is not everything.

Pride is another key. At times, we just feel so great about ourselves that we cannot take criticisms from others or not saying sorry when we clearly know that we are wrong. Anger is hard to supress and often we just let our head take control. Hot tempered is the word for many teenagers.

We need to take things in our stride and make sensible decisions in life. Life is hard, or not? Life can be beautiful too, if you're living it the right way.
