DWARFY aka BURNO! The one that I spend (2days+6weeks) - (2.5days leave, 1 day off for her) = 5weeks 3.5days with. Will miss the days we took nonsense peeeektures and how we lunch in, purposely queueing for food with the ultimate long Q, going out to ION for lunch and going to cafe for my fav ice lemon tea. & also accumulating so much MHDHY with weichun. The power post it wall, we killed so many trees! It was really a fun experience!

I've learnt alot working with the co and the experience is indifferent from my previous jobs. & am thankful to the boss for the lunch trip and I got so talkative as quoted from Mengni. & also thanks Mengni for the yummy prawn noodles and ice lemon tea.


Our very first K trip, definitely not the last one.
It was one of my best K trips because these 2 person are AWEEEESOME. The way we dramatise and how we ban all the emo songs! The younger one knew the old songs better than us! We shall go again real sooooon.

We lunched in at Senki. I like the raw slices, they were fresh! FYI, I don't take sashimi. I will be back there for their buffet. I wanna try the swordfish!


Met Owl that day after work. & had soupspoon at ION. YUMYUM. Headed over to Fareast thinking that it is still very early. Had slice. The night fell and bused home. 700A is super rocky, i hate the turnings. It was great to see her after so long and caught up quite a fair bit.


Random teabreak with the Qius. We drove to pick Kiwi up, spend a long time to find her due to erm.... HAHA!



Pizza Hut's super-exaggerating-advertised-spaghetti. It's considerably good. I love the wings and GARLIC BREAD!! :D Caught The Ugly Truth. Hilarious and funny if you can catch the balls.

Caught Julie and Julia the other day with XiaoQing. It was just so-so to me because I expected more since the ratings and reviews were pretty good.

Lunched in at Soupspoon and went to Uniqlo. Madness began here. Z tried some clothes that she wouldn't (in the past). Bought basics and jacket. Headed to TCC for some taitai session because she got 20bucks off. Tea and desserts to go along. (: YUMYUM. Time just flies as we sipped the aromatic tea and savour the sweet desserts.

Headed down to Far East to begin part II of our journey. Got a shirt there and she got a cheery orange top! :D & a mini mini skirt for her! Love to shop with her because she will help me carry my stuffs! LOVEYOU. Now she blames me for making her broke and we are so not meeting up for any shopping. HAHA! Drinking session and DUCK PIZZA next mth w kiwi who din come along this time!



That pretty sums up my last holiday in my tertiary days. It's gonna be permenant holidays if I don't continue with studies when I finished my exams in late Feb. Had an enjoyable and fruitful holiday!

On a random note, I just dyed and did treatment for my hair. Not sure if it's obvious. A shade darker than my golden hair last sem. But at least it is not so cui now, so DWARFY go get rid of your black roots. GROW HAIR GROW!

Oh, there's class tml! How great?! But if I am at work, I will be whinning why am I not at school. Human beings are just two headed.

It's 277days into the year. Time flies real fast!

As the title suggests, 噢買尬 Oh My God was the reaction.

It was just another dull and restless Tuesday at office. My phone rang and ... From the voice I guess it was a DJ from yes933fm. So she say I have won a Nokia phone from one of the contests. I went "噢買尬!?" In my semi-conscious state, I was just beaming and grinning to myself.

Kept thinking what model would it be as you know, free stuff usually do not turn out to be that fantastic. The next day, a singtel personnel called. The free phone comes with a free 2-year plan. Lucky or LUCKY?! I guess many of my friends will be like -_-" WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS SO HENG? HAHAHA!

Received the letter for collection. It's N86 8MP, the newly launched.

Most probably taking half-day somewhere this week to collect!

We do travel out when we have cravings. Busing out for Holland V Katong Laksa! IKEA soon for lunch! 2weeks to go- nice desserts at Commonwealth, soupspoon, kbox & more after work!

Just manage to satisfy our ice cream cravings at ION's Swensens though we did not conquer as many scoops as we wanted. The Q was horrendous that Friday evening, even the manager was shocked to see the Q.

Bumped into Xiao Qing and we bused home together. She's really a joke!

Shopping day out w love eeyore. Looking for heels and facial products. The wedges was bought at Far East w dwarfy the day before when we went for ice cream buffet.

Bought another pair of heels. & facial wash + emulsion from Beauty Credit. Have been using it for about one week. I like it because it does improve my face gradually.


Steamboat w XIAOQING after work on a Friday night. We were like hungry ghosts by the time we reached Bugis. The spicy soup base was really too HOT! Shall go back for the one with long Q soon. Thanks for the pretty heart keychain from Taiwan and the yummy tibits. :D Heart you!

Bought bubble mask (shared w dumbo). Gonna try tonight to see if it's really that amazing. :D Been really pumping alot of money on facial products and hopefully it's gonna be worthwhile.

Feel like changing bloglink but haven't thought of any yet. Shall change when one pops up. ;)

Planning to meet Darcie, Huifang, KhengPuay, Waynie (you've disappear into the thin air already) and ... that I have not seen for ages.

It's getting dusty here, time for some updates. Been kept busy by work & of course, meetups.

#01 Yingjie's belated 19th picnic
Date/ Day: 13.09.09 Sunday
Place: Marina Barrage & Popeyes

I thought I was already late but there were more latecomers. Most funny thing was that Ms Quek thought barrage was at the floating platform and gave wrong instructions to the rest. HAHA! Smart right?

Settled down near 2plus and started to feast. We had chewy juniors, sandwich, spaghetti (w sotong and prawns), cupcakes, chips. The weather was perfectly GOOD, hot sun & strong wind. Sat around to play taboo. I'm just a pro and was accused of memorising all the words. LOL!

Played dare or DARE, in short known as DARE. Some of the dares are jaw dropping. But we all had fun and our fair share of laughing at each other. The sun began to set and Stephanie appeared after getting the present. Gossiped and more gossips till nearly 9 before we head down for popeyes.

Peisin is super cute can. She ordered Choco sundae but special order; without the fudge. LOL! We just makan and continue to gossip and chitchat till 11plus before we all leave for home.

Lobster buddies w QuekYJ, we were red like nobody business. Hope she enjoyed herself and you sure no more picnics next time? :) We took like over hundreds of photos, till my batt died on me.

#02 HONGQIUHUI's twentyfirst
Date/Day: 14.09.09 Monday
Place: Swensens & her house

Met qp after work and got kiwi pretty and colourful daisies. Decided to dine in at Swensens, had bday firehouse for it's her bday! =)

My phone died on me, low batt. Luckily qp's phone have radio so at around 9plus, my dedication was read out! YAY HONGQIUHUI you heard yourself over the national no.1 radio station 933fm. But supposedly, 平胸 was misread as 平熊! LOL.

Surprises hardly work nowadays, esp when you have smart friends! Qiuping bought strawberry shortcake from four leave and went to kiwi's house first. Heh reached her place and cut cake time! WOOHOO 21st! Jaycie seems to assume that it's her bday. She's 21mth old now. Her aunt kiwi is 21YEARS old. That day I was watching pororo w her and she clapped so happily knowing it's pororo's bday.

Jaycie's sucha sweetie uh! She loves strawberries and start playing w the cake! She refused to shower and start to make noise but she was coaxed to bath eventually. Left after completing the album. :D Hope you enjoyed your bday with us! LOVEss YOU!

#03 Worklife

Place: Office & Sushi Tei

Mass camwhoring at work. It's like a everyday must to thing at work for me and my crazyDWARFY aka my go-work-and-home buddy! Life is soooooo good with her! Took with KiKi also, my "supervisor" as she will be leaving next week. Awwww.

Headed to Sushi Tei after work. Had softshell crab goma pasta and chawamushi!

Pretty worn out and heels are killing me. Walked over to ion and bought milk pan and some other bread from PROVENCE! YUMMY! :D Bused home after that.

We gonna embark on d ice cream adventure as dwarfy did not try before! Conquering frolicks, cold rock, island creamery & swensens buffet! Sakura buffet soon also!

Thanks dwarfy for the sodapiaaaaaaa! (: *feel so loved* Got notice the "I HEI JIU YOU" reduced significantly? We just love to communicate in short forms!

#04 Meetup w buds
Date/Day: 18.09.09 Friday
Place:Ikea n Cold rock

Met up with Kiwi to do her hair treatment and I was constantly being psycho but I cannot face the music so I decided to stay firm. After that trained down to IKEA to meet the always-late qp. Meatballs for me, fish&chips for them & chicken wings for all! \m/ YUM YUM!

As usual, qp reported to work and we happily bused to Holland V for cold rock. ZOMGGGGG! Is nice de loooooo! Cheesecake w mango sorbet + fresh strawberries & kitkat. :D geeee! Bought bread from provence again. We're the last customers of the day before they closed. Bused to her place and took 192 home.

p.s. qp, there's always a next time ok! :]

Earlier in the day, took half day. Went to Jurong West because I was dying to have the curry chicken noodle from the buzzling cashier. The Q abit not exaggerating, I'm like the 20th person and the Q gets longer. Overall, it's pretty nice except I saw a strand of hair. ._."

#05 Bye to my 5mths old long cui! fringe
Date/Day: 19.09.09 Saturday
Place: Jurong Point

KFC-ed. A lucky guy won a SE phone because he bought a hotbox! Went to search for yellow shirt next because it's the theme for Stephanie's 21st tomorrow! Next to STOMP to chop my fringe as it's blocking my view for quite some time already. Soya ice cream and many were like looking at our ice cream! :)

The Ugly Truth

1) What do you think is the biggest turn-off (disgust) during a date?

I think the biggest turn-off during a date will be guys who are egoistic and those are not gentlemen.

Egoistic simply refers to being self-centered or selfish and not sparing a thought about the other party. Guys who do not seek girls' opinions or suggestions and just decide everything by himself. Take for example, when deciding where to eat, the guy just pick the place himself without asking the girl's preference. Perhaps the girl do not take spicy food and he just insist on going for curry. Girls just dislike chauvinist who make their own decisions and do things their way!

Guys who are not gentlemen is another big turn-off!!! Guys should be considerate and attentive to little details like holding the door for girls. It may really give girls a good impression and feel about the guy for sure!

2) Why do you want to watch “The Ugly Truth”.

I want to watch "The Ugly Truth" because I want to know THE UGLY TRUTH that actually makes men and women tick! I think it will be pretty interesting to see how we can relate what happen in the plot to reality!

MAYDAY DNA WORLD TOUR CONCERT 2009




29th August the day i anticipated since few months back. Not because exams ended but MAYDAY is here! Bought the tickets immediately when the sale was up in Feb and time flies, 29th August was over in a blink of eyes. 24hours ago, I am in the indoor stadium with MAYDAY.

It will definitely be a night I will never forget this lifetime. :)

MAYDAY.
They are the first band I like and they inspire me with their great music when I first started to come into contact w music. & they are also the first concert I've been to! Serious music people are always charming and charamastic.

Yesterday was an awesome and high night!

Ashin on drums!

Stone wanted to spice up the atmosphere by "attempting" to unzip his pants! Guan You was damn funny when he wanted to shouted "V" but he was too soft and going to go off pitch. Guan you also mentioned that they are actually eyeing at the stadium (outdoor) without shelter one whenever they are here in the indoor stadium! Gosh it will be super duper high!!! Like those outdoor concerts in Taiwan.

Guan you sang a few songs but the rest of the members say stop because they cannot stand it themselves. Haha! Ashin say so if Guan you is gonna hold a concert, we should know that we should not.... uhm.

Ashin came walking down the aisle and it drove us all crazy, mad and high! I touched his hands! and uhmm shoulder!!! HIGH ttm. :D gee! It was so close.It was so cute when Asin was like sitting down, getting emotional saying that some of the fans are obsessed with new bands like FLH, Soda Green and some followed F4, leaving Mayday. It's not trueeee aye.




Ashin also say that Mayday will not kui dai their old friends so they sang till pass midnight also! Because supposingly only day 1 concert will sing pass midnight. Haha but he also say must depend on the mood of the Da Ye(s) on stage to see if they will continue singing. Cute ttm! I totally was crazy when they say they will sing till 12!

I'm in love with their taiwanese songs, it's so similiar to hokkien!





It's just so amazing everyone stood throughout the whole concert! Like what Cruz says, NO ONE should be sitting down enjoying the concert hur.



JUMP!

Everyone practically jump and put their hands in the air and go crazy with Mayday!

Mayday fans can all really sing well like a choral, following along and singing to the songs! The atmosphere is just so good!

Endless encore and they are always back after we screamed like crazy. Losing my voice soon but it's all worth it!



Like what QiuHui says, we will definitely be back in the stadium next year for MAYDAY! Confirm plus CHOP! :)


AWESOME!

It spells H-O-L-I-D-A-Y-S !!!

I guess many poly students will be like phew!!! after all the papers which killed like millions of our brain cells. Forget about the papers first, it's time to relax and do whatever we like.

RELAX seldom or never appear during school days because of the endless tutorials, presentation & fyp. I find it super difficult to catch a breathe but now... I can just about the different compensation approaches, the challenges faced by an international employee, the characteristics of effective disciplinary procedure and the different entry modes!!!

After the last day of paper, it was PARTY time yeah! 6 of us headed down to ION. Had Swensens 1-for-1 lunch treats. Service was terribly slow. We were so so HUNGRY! 60bucks worth of seafood laksa! WHOA! Fish & Chips and Breaded chicken! YUMMY!

Isabelle & Valentia left earlier. Ah Quek and me had ice cream buffet. The nice manager allowed us to have it w/o the coupons. We took like alot of different flavours and maltases + macademia nuts (ex so must eat all you can as quoted from ah quek)! 放下屠刀 立地成佛 Stephanie and Aaron openly eating but my constant lookout for her is to ensure we will not be charged. My neck was like getting long~

We were like exploding and kept laughing like mad! But it's good luh cause cannot remember when is the last time I got so crazy laughing till my jaws are dropping!

As you can see, the updates in August is really pathetic, 3 posts inclusive of this. But as I mentioned, it was the best semester in NP! :D Meeting lovely and new people and tutors.

To stay or go?

Though holidays are here, no job = no income $$. So I've got through a formal interview and got shortlisted. Starting work tml, somewhere near Queensway. I realised from the resume that I've created, all my 7weeks holidays are occupied with work. Money is the key motivation.

Gonna be busy with work and organising gatherings for poly (bbq) and pri sch peeps. Eventful & interesting September! :D
